Spring Discipleship Intensives
Session Two
These are 5-week Bible study groups that are centered around fellowship and discipleship. This semester we are offering 3 discipleship courses for adults on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm.
Session Two Dates: April 8, 15, 22, 29, May 6
Location: Bethel | In the Cornerstone
Course offerings (you will select one course for 5 weeks):
- Rooted: A Gospel-Centered Guide to Christian Identity
- Led by Tony Butler
- Rooted is a practical, gospel-centered intensive designed to help believers understand the foundations of their faith and who they are in Christ. Drawing from The Pursuit of Holiness, this class explores the grace of the gospel, the call to holiness, and how faith in Jesus transforms not just what we do, but who we are. Whether you’re new to the faith or seeking deeper spiritual growth, this class will help ground your life in the unchanging truths of the gospel.
- Parenting: Shepherding a Child’s Heart
- Led by Jared and Annaclaire Mitchell
- This intensive equips parents with biblical wisdom for guiding their children’s hearts toward the paths of life. Drawing from Shepherding a Child’s Heart, we’ll explore practical, gospel-centered approaches to parenting that move beyond behavior management to heart transformation—shaping children with truth, grace, discipline, and hope rooted in the gospel.
- Entering the World of the Bible
- Led by Josh Burnham
- This intensive introduces participants to the historical, geographical, and cultural world of the Bible. Using the Holman Bible Atlas, we will explore the places, peoples, and movements that shape the story of Scripture, helping the Bible come alive with greater clarity and depth. Designed for both new and seasoned readers of Scripture, this class will deepen your understanding of God’s Word by situating it within its real-world setting—so you can read the Bible with greater confidence, context, and wonder.
